Warranty Claim Information

The Burnout Warranty will encompass the following defects:

  1. An accessory malfunction including integral pieces of the lid (rubber stoppers, sliding mechanisms, sonic welds, and thread malfunctions) that are not caused by excessive force or improper use by the customer.
  2. Any unclear necessary information present on each unique Burnout product including serial numbers, logos, or additional legal information.
  3. Burnout Mugs and Tumblers which are not performing as advertised (a broken vacuum within the walls of the product(s), inadequate product filling, or an obvious manufacturing issue) not caused by the customer.

What is NOT covered?

Burnout does retain the right to deny any and all Product(s) which have been determined to malfunction due to improper customer use. This Warranty applies to the original purchaser or the customer who was given (gifted) the Product(s) that was purchased ONLY from an authorized reseller or authorized sales channel and manufactured by or for Burnout and has an authorized “Burnout” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. The Warranty does not apply to any:

  1. Non-Burnout products, even if included or sold with a Product, including, without limitation, any counterfeit products
  2. Purchased from an unauthorized distributor or reseller
  3. Product(s) purchased from or used outside the country of sale
  4. Product(s) missing a valid serial number
  5. Product(s) that are, or Burnout reasonably believes to be stolen
  6. Loss of Consumables (such as our patented “Heat-Zorb” Material)
  7. Product or part of a Product that has been serviced, altered, refurbished, or modified by anyone who is not authorized by Burnout
  8. Any cosmetic damage such as large scratches and dents

In addition, any damage or defects caused by:

  1. Use with non-Burnout products
  2. Accident (including, but not limited to Microwave use), abuse, improper or abnormal use, corrosion, discoloration of powder coat or stainless steel (or any other change in cosmetic appearance that does not affect performance), theft, vandalism, mishandling, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing or other natural disasters or acts of God of any kind
  3. Normal wear and tear or aging of the Product
  4. Operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Burnout
  5. Operating the product not in accordance with instructions provided by Burnout
  6. Improper cleaning methods including corrosive cleaners, highly abrasive materials or a lack of cleaning leading to contaminate buildup causing mold or mildew
