The range of our products is intended to be in the range of 140-160 Fahrenheit within 2-3 minutes and maintain that temperature for up to 8 hours.
Preston Wagner – January 20, 2024
Ive had my burnout mug for a couple years and has been the absolute best mug ive ever owned! Just recently I accidentally broke the lid. Is there anyway i can order just a replacement lid?
DON MELLOR – May 23, 2023
HOW CAN ONE KEEP IT FROM LEAKING OUT THE MOUTH OPENING IF THE CUP IS TIPPED OVER?
Admin Clayton Naeger – May 9, 2024
Don, As of now we have not released a lid that has a closed option for this style of mug.

Can you make a beer tankard?
John – June 18, 2023
Great idea. Keep it nice and cold, but not frozen!

Id like to know if all your products are made in the US? Each piece of your products? Many are designed in the US but fail to actually grasp the point of American made over made in China. Which most people are getting tired of. We know companies are profit greedy rather than quality assertive. Just want a good American made product. All sourced in US. Or at the very least NOT CHINA/ASIA
N, our product is actually Made in the US in Columbia, MO! We do have to source parts outside of the US to keep our costs as low as possible for the customers, but we do all manufacturing and even the HeatZorb material is Made in the States.

I’ve had several people think I was crazy as I immediately started drinking my freshly poured coffee. This is a well made, lifetime warranty mug that does exactly as advertised
Arlene – November 17, 2023
Is the outside of the coffee mug cool to the touch while the coffee On the inside stays hot ?
Susan Liu – November 30, 2023
Yes.
Preston, if you haven’t already, please reach out to us at Help@burnoutmugs.com

This mug of coffee (or tea) is drinkable for me within a minute or two of pouring the hot coffee in this mug. Now, I do add cold half & half which does lower the temp a bit before I take a sip. Not only does is cool it down to a perfect temp to drink, but if I set it down for 45 minutes & leave, it will still be hot when I return. Perfect!
The only downside I see, is if your coffee is left for several hours, you can not reheat this in a microwave. This rarely happens to me. Also I’m talking 2+ hours or more, then the coffee will be too cool to be appealing.

I drink my chicken soup from the burnout mug

Why did my mug suddenly stop keeping things warm? Why won’t my serial number work for warranty?
Burnout Mug lover – February 19, 2024
Our family ordered 8 Burntout Mugs about two years ago. They have been working very well, particularly you can drink the nearly boiling fresh-made coffee or tea immediately. We love them very much and have used them everyday. However, after two years, the screw threads of the plastic lid of two mugs have worn out, so the lid can’t screw tight with the instant drinkability adapter, significantly reducing the instant drinkability and making tea leaves stuffing inside the gap between the adapter and the mug inner wall. While I am waiting for new replacements, I would recommend to the company to redesign the plastic lid to make its threads stronger, so I don’t need to ask for new replacements every two years. Before that, please stock sufficient lid parts for quick delivery of replacements. Thank you. (SN:211122139BM0914 and 211208016BM0914).

I have two different Burnout mugs; this is one of them. I would not say you can immediately drink the liquid. I filled it with boiling water and minutes later it was still 90°C. 70°C 10 minutes later is fine though.
It seems to hold the heat for quite some time but the lid gets very warm so there is definitely room for improving that as well.
The mug is heavy and feels very well built and of high quality.
Maddy – April 11, 2024
This has changed my life. If you bring coffee or tea along anywhere with you, this is the absolute best cup to have. It does EXACTLY what is describes. Shortly after the drink goes in, it is ready to sip at the perfect temp. It stays the perfect temp so much longer than I could ever really need it to (several hours). I bring this in the car, out on walks, even on a cruise ship. I couldn’t live without it!
Also; very durable construction. I am so pleased!
Kat – April 29, 2024
Does it have a lid?
John Murphy – May 9, 2024
Where are the imported parts from? I got excited when I read “Made in USA”, but then…..🤔
John, as of today, we are sourcing select parts from China to keep costs as low as we can for our customers. That being said, in the very near future we are wanting to bring everything including the steel rolling machines in house at our Columbia, MO factory to inch closer to a 100% Made In The USA product.

Waiting for some color variety…helps differentiate mugs at the home or office. Plus black or red is boring.
Dave Wilsom – January 9, 2022
I was given a 16oz mug for Christmas. What temperature liquid are your mugs designed to maintain? It works very well (and I’m drinking a hell of a lot more coffee) but I would prefer the “kept” temperature be a bit higher. I tried preheating it but that seemed to have no effect. Your thoughts please? Thank you

I drink my coffee with sugar and cream, when does it get adde
Rachel – February 11, 2022
Does the 2.0 automatically come with the lid and the tea insert?
Coffee Fan (verified owner) – June 27, 2022
Yes it seems so. Mine did.
Russell Volz – February 18, 2022
I want to know if the 2.0 mug’s opening is big enough or not too big to accommodate an AeroPress. If you don’t know that, then what is the exact inner dimension and out dimension?
I measured 98.5 mm ID at top lip and 103.9 mm OD at lip.
I’d like to see an image of the 2.0 lid. Can’t fine one anywhere.
Russell Volz – March 19, 2022
Please post or send image of the 2.0 mug’s lid.
Bernice Petrie – April 12, 2022
Does the 2.0 mug come with a lid?
Yes it does and the tea infuser as well.
Doraswamy Subramony – April 15, 2022
Do I need to have the insert for it to work?
Weakin Black – January 6, 2024
The instructions clearly label it “instant drink ability adapter,” not a tea infuser.
The tea infuser is removable when it is not desired.
Malachy – September 8, 2022
How do you drink from the top of it? None of your pictures on your site show it that well.
Robert Watson – May 11, 2022
Why do you not answer the questions on your website. I am referring to the mug.
I am not sure but this is a newer product and there hasn’t been a lot of online reviews of this mug yet. I like the product quite a bit and hope to see it take off to compete with Yeti and the other big names.
Kris Arthur (verified owner) – November 8, 2022
I actually like mine way more than my Yeti. My coffee stays hot longer. I didn’t think that was possible but it is. My Yeti sits in cabinet now.
Unboxing of New Burnout Mug 2.0 Measurements taken as general reference in Millimeters. Not an accurate representation of dimensions. Mug depth is greater than what is shown. Caliper is used by butting the top of the scale instead of the jaw itself. Mug works great and comes with tea infuser. (First unboxing apologies for quality) Buy this mug if you love that perfect drinking temperature a little cooler than boiling brew temp.

How do you pour your coffee in here without making a mess? I’m brewing an Americano (via espresso machine) in a regular coffee mug and then transfer and it’s a mess.
Ben – March 28, 2024
I use a single cup coffee maker, setting my cup so it pours into the hinged slot. If I forget to open the slot or have it misaligned, the thoughtful design of the lid allows the coffee to run down to the lower drinking slot; no mess.
Tim – August 27, 2022
Where are these products made (what country)?
Filipe – December 30, 2022
It’s right there on the video, good old US of A! 🇺🇸
Tim – September 23, 2024
How would this mug work for black tea? I normally leave a tea bag in a regular mug for 3-5m to steep.
