William Foster – April 20, 2024
I’m happy to see you’re now selling this travel mug with the pop-top lid. I bought the original mug with the “Easy-Drink” slide closure and really disliked it. (So did a lot of other people, if one can believe the Amazon reviews.) I bought a separate pop-top lid, and it is MUCH better. So what are you waiting for? Pick a size (12 or 16 oz; I’d go big.) and buy one. You won’t be sorry.

are the materials contacting consumable liquids made in China?
Russell Brown – August 17, 2024
When do you anticipate that you will have full USA production? Not sure how much of a price jump this would cause, but personally I wouldn’t have a problem paying $100 for a 100% USA 16 oz tumbler.

needs to be answered
Admin Clayton Naeger – May 9, 2024
Mark, as of now, we import our stainless steel blanks and a few other small parts from China to save on cost. In the very foreseeable future we plan to bring the metal rolling process to our facility in Columbia to inch closer to our 100% Made In The USA goal.

What is the diameter of the mug base please? Millimetres preferred and if greater than 65mm it’s a non starter for us. Thanks in advance,
Jared Sampson (verified owner) – January 7, 2024
By my measurement it’s 73mm diameter. If you’re still searching, my Zojirushi 12oz is 65mm, though it doesn’t have the same temperature control feature (the material for which presumably gives the Burnout mug the extra width).

Is there a lid that lets user drink with a straw?
Admin Clayton Naeger – May 7, 2024
Our pop-top lid does have a rather large circular opening you drink out of. We do not currently have a lid designed specifically for straw usage, but that one would work with a straw.
Dmitry – January 21, 2024
What are size and weight?
James – March 16, 2024
Does this contain lead anywhere in the mug?
Clayton Naeger – April 4, 2024
Our products to not contain lead of any kind. Our mugs are made with 18/8 stainless steel and employ a glass to create the vacuum.
Chris – March 21, 2024
do you make a travel mug with a handle?
We do not currently make a travel mug with a handle. All of the products we offer with handles are not designed for travel since they do not have a lid with a water tight seal.
Rob Ashcraft – May 27, 2024
Are you considering making a 42oz tumbler, I really hate supporting a communist country.
Admin Clayton Naeger – September 9, 2024
Rob, we have actually just recently been discussing plans to bring more of the processes in house over then next 1-2 years. Around that time, we will begin production on much larger mugs like you’ve described!
Alan – June 11, 2024
What is the height of the 16 oz. mug? The original Burnout 16 oz. doesn’t quite fit under my Keurig.
Robert DAmico – June 17, 2024
I recently received a 16 oz flip lid as a gift and the warranty states it is valid if used properly per directions. I did not receive any directions with the mug and could not find any on line. Could you please forward me the operation directions.

Are you associated or supported by the Oath Keepers?
Kevin – June 21, 2024
Are you going to answer my question? You can send it to my email
Admin Clayton Naeger – June 21, 2024
Kevin, we are not associated or supported with the Oath Keepers that I am aware of.
Jake Lufkin – July 5, 2024
Can it be used with cold liquids (ice water)?
David Hart – August 5, 2024
It is better than advertised. I pour a cup that I intend to sip on from about 8:00 until just before lunch. When I travel I want it to last at least 4 hours. I preheat the 12 oz mug with hot water (not boiling) and about three minutes later I empty it a fill with fresh coffee. I have on occasion gone back to it with a little left at 4:00 in the afternoon and it was still the same drinking temp as the first sip. I have had Yetis, Stanley, Starbucks — and a number of others. They are just no match for the drinkability of this cup and their leak proof cups/mugs are not as good as this one. This is pricey for coffee cups/mugs but if you drink MANY HOT drinks at all you will find that in the long run it is a bargain. I have had mine 8 months and pity the foolish person who tries to take it away from me.

Hey, I’m liking this product. I notice you make it from U.S. and imported parts. Which parts are imported? Where are they imported from? And is there a plan to go fully U.S./U.S. friendly?
Cordell – October 18, 2024
I have seen in other reviews and comments that they plan to bring the process to a 100% US production in the next few years. I believe they import the stainless blanks, and other small plastic parts for lids? I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve gathered.
Desiree – December 12, 2023
Is this leak-proof?
While not every lid is created equally, and we do have some issues with leaking on occasion, all of our lids for tumblers should be leak-proof.
Jeff – June 15, 2022
How many ounces is this mug? Does it come in a 24 ounce option?
Coffee Fan – October 14, 2022
I think it only comes in the one size and Roughly 16 Fluid Oz.
Glen Lesnick – June 16, 2022
How long will this sale price be available?
Chuck Wallbaum – June 19, 2022
I have the original Burnout 12 oz mugs. I love it and use it every day. Does the pop top lid fit on my coffee mug? If so, I’d like to buy one.
Kenneth Bishop – August 13, 2022
Will the pop top fit all the 16oz? The one that comes with is leaking if it falls in my bag. Just got it today from Amazon. I like it but if it’s going to leak I’ll send it back.
Sunshine – January 21, 2023
How many hours will the temperature stay consistent?
Charlie – September 24, 2022
What size of the burnout pop top lid tumbler?
Roughly 16 Fl. Oz.
Elizabeth Clymer – January 3, 2023
What temperature does it hold your drink (I’ve read about 135). Is it possible to have it at a different higher temp?
Ben – January 5, 2023
Yes, if you preheat the mug with boiling water, let it sit in the mug for a minute, empty it, then add a very hot drink immediately after, it’ll keep it hotter since the Heatzorb will have absorbed lots of heat.
Sunshine – January 22, 2023
How many hours will the temperature stay constant?
Chris – March 3, 2023
Is this $80 for *just* the lid??
Earl Long Jr – March 14, 2023
Coffee stays hot and fresh to the very end at just the right temperature. Love it!
Ear Long Jr (verified owner) – March 14, 2023
How do I use my $20 discount SPF100?
S.B – January 24, 2024
Had no problem with my discount code
Marc – May 10, 2023
I would love to buy one, but the lid seems to be a problem. Reviews for the original lid suggest trouble with leaks and difficult cleaning. The new pop-top lid looks pretty annoying – the flip-up part would be right in your face while drinking. If you offered a lid with a carry handle and a good seal that doesn’t flip up (there are several good designs on other brands) I’d be all in!
I have had this slide lid for the last 8 months and knocked the mug over as well. In all my experience (every day) the lid has never leaked
Oliver – May 22, 2023
My wife got me the TUmbler with Pop Top Lid for my birthday and the first day I used it, it fell off a table…dented the bottom and the top flew open, spilling coffee. The list still seems to work properly and the coffee remained the perfect temp to the last sip! I tossed some ice and coffee in the afternoon and it kept that temp just fine all afternoon! I’m on day 2 right now, and still working like a charm!
I don’t condone letting it fall, but just wanted to report….it’s doing what it was designed to do! Love it!
Patti Gardner – July 31, 2023
Is pop top lid available on 12 oz size?
The 12 and 16 oz products actually use the same lids.
Christine – August 25, 2023
I would like to purchase the 12 ounce tumbler with the pop top. Is that an option?
Dillon Andersen – November 2, 2023
I searched for 6 months on and off looking for an American made insulated mug. For months all I saw were the same thing and all made in China. I can’t stand that crap. Finally, right as I was about to give up I found Burnout. It is exactly the product that is advertised and works just as well and beyond what I could’ve hoped. I am a diehard American made fan and gladly spent the extra money for an amazing USA made product that I use every day and I’m proud to share with my friends.
Pascal D (verified owner) – November 10, 2023
Since 60 years I pour cold water in my tea and coffee to be able to drink it right away. Initially I was skeptical that the Burnout Tumbler would work as advertised. And it works amazingly well! My coffee and tea goes into the tumbler boiling hot and is within minutes at the perfect drinking temperature and stays there for hours. I’m very excited, truly a great product.
Brandon – November 28, 2023
How many ounces is this pop top lid tumbler?
Susan Liu – November 30, 2023
The tumblers with pop top lid here are 16 oz. By the way, the pop top lids would also fit 12 oz Burnout tumblers.
Greg – December 9, 2023
What are the dimensions?
Mark – October 11, 2024
Do you offer a first responder/military discount?
Clayton Naeger – October 21, 2024
